- 2 Squared paper sheets (measurements see below)
- Paper stripes
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Glue

Measurement examples:
General formula: Choose a squared sheet of any size for the box and divide into thirds with a pencil.
The lid size is calculated as follows: (Box sheet length / 3) + (preferred lid height x 2) + 0.2cm. Then mark the preferred lid height from each side with a pencil.

When you get the measurements right, these gift boxes are easy and fast to make without any origami skills. For larger measurements I recommend firmer paper for better stability.
